Pearl Overload

What a beautiful summer day again, right now the kids are playing outside with the sprinkler and I get to stare at my garden that finally received a little TLC again. It's been a busy week and it was crying for some attention!

I knew when Stampin' Up! started carrying the pearls and rhinestones in sheets I would be in trouble, lol. Those things are so easy to go nuts with! This project took me forever to complete, I started last night and finished this morning. Not that it I was working on it the entire time, we did typical summer stuff in between.

I always save the cardboard that comes with our designer paper for things just like this. I glued the soft suede cardstock to the front and back of a square piece of the cardboard and then ran it through my Bigshot with a scallop circle die. To give it some dimension I sponged the edges in Soft Suede. The Baja Breeze flower is made with 3 flowers from our new paper flowers pack, I made them just like in my last post. The Not Quite Navy flower is made similar to all the paper rose tutorials that you see in the blog world. The smallest paper flowers were coloured in Basic Grey. I used the White Shimmer paint on the NQN flower and the small ones too. The ribbon is white taffeta ribbon dyed with Baja Breeze ink, I used sticky strip to go around and then wrapped the ribbon around the base. To finish it off I added a healthy dose of our new self adhesive pearls, LOVE those things.

Phew, I'm tired just reading that, lol.

Paper: Soft Suede, Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Always Artichoke, DSP-Elegant Soiree
Ink: Soft Suede, Baja Breeze
Other: White Shimmer Paint, Pearls, Paper Flowers, Taffeta Ribbon

Have a great day!
Tina

OMGoodness I would love instructions for this too. This is the first round box that I have seen. The paper and the flowers and the ribbon with the rhinestones are just delightful! I will watch your blog for any instructions. TIA
