Happy Friday!

I love Fridays, almost as much as Saturdays but not as much as Sundays, lol. I was able to make a card today and the kids are having a great day too, well other then the odd blow up but that's normal, right?!

I got the inspiration for this card on SCS, it was for a Techniques Challenge, to double emboss on a card. So you first heat emboss your image and then dry emboss the final product. I have to say I'm please with the results. For the colouring, I used my blender pens and started with the darkets spots first and slowly worked my way outwards. Then I took the darker colours and deepened just the shaded areas.

Stamps: Growing Green, Apple Blossoms
Paper: Water Colour pp, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, DSP-Elegant Soiree
Ink: Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Old Olive, Always Artichoke, Soft Suede, Basic Black
Other: Black Ribbon

Have a great weekend!
Tina

I commented on this card in "Stampin' Connections" and think it is just so striking! I guess it's the style as well as the colours you used, too....!
