Birthday Roses

Good morning everyone! It looks like our week is about to turn wet and windy, which makes for perfect crafting time. I am a huge fan of rain, I love a day of steady rain or drizzle, my husband would rather just have a good downpour and then sunshine but where's the stamping fun in that?! Lol.

I got the inspiration for this card from a couple of places so I don't really know who gets the credit for it. I stamped the roses on water colour pp and using my blender pen I first shaded in some Certainly Celery and then went into the darkest spots with Always Artichoke to really give the roses some depth. The sentiment is stamped with white craft ink and I tried to go over the craft ink with Certainly Celery chalk but it doesn't really show very well. The front panel is textured with the new embossing folder that will be available for purchase on May 1st. Love this folder, it totally changes the look and feel of the paper.

Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral, Sincere Salutations,
Paper: Certainly Celery, Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla, Water Colour pp
Ink: White Craft, Certainly Celery, Always Artichoke
Other: Half Back Pearls

Have a great day everyone!
Tina

Hi Tina! Beautiful card! I am just curious where you get your little rhinestones from that you use on card fronts sometimes. They are so pretty! It sure adds a lot to a card. Keep creating :)

Thanks Tina, those rhinestones were actually free from a store "that shall not be names, lol" a while ago, they were meant to be ironed on and they spelled Blonde. So I just keep peeling them off whenever I need them. But rumour has it that SU! might be giving us something like this, I'm hoping!
