Birthday Overload!

Some of you might have noticed that all my cards are Birthday cards these days. My goal this year is to send birthday cards to friends and family and so that means I actually have to make them, lol. But I'm already late for one so I guess you could say I'm off to a great start.

This card happens to be for my husband's nephew who turns 6 in a few weeks. I love the Beary Best Friends set for kids birthday cards, they're so fun! I used my gel pen for the faux stitching, I love that I don't have to lug out my sewing machine for this. I also stamped a few extra balloons on water colour paper and cut them out. I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the strings where I wanted them and glued the extra balloons in place. And I added crystal effects to all three of the balloons to give them that extra umph.

Stamps: Beary Best Friends, Vintage Labels (SAB set)
Paper: Taken With Teal, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Water Colour pp, SAB paper pack
Ink: Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Ruby Red, Crushed Curry, Taken With Teal, Night of Navy,Close to Cocoa
Other: White Gel Pen, Black Grosgrain Ribbon, Black Brads, Crystal Effects

Have a great weekend!
Tina
